Samantha from MediaCorp here. Details for your 2 girls 2 guys for our filming session next monday.

Details of the scene:
Our drama is called "Red Thread" and it will be aired from April 2009 onwards. The scene that we will be filming on 29th Dec is an engagement scene (between Adrian Pang & Celest Chong's characters) on board a Yacht at the club at Sentosa. The 4 of your members will be violin players in the setting.

Here are more details:
Date: 29 Dec (Mon)
Reporting time: 0730am sharp at Mediacorp (Filming will be whole day for us but we should be able to release 4 of you by lunchtime around 2pm)
Pls bring your student pass / IC to exchange for our visitor's pass in.
Pls enter thru our RadioGate instead of Reception and call me at 91799217 once you arrive.
You will need to exchange for visitors' pass from the security post and tell him that you are "Red Thread"'s Extras. This is becoz this is the most convenient way for you to enter or else Reception is much further away.

Pls bring along your violin, and your all black outfit which you guys usually wear for performances. Ladies please wear black long dress. I've also asked my wardrobe to prepare standby black outfits for you just in case.

Standby 1 music piece which alll 4 of you knows (just a simple one would do)

The remuneration will be $50 per person.
We will let you sign a payment voucher on the day and we will mail the cheque to you.

Kindly provide the full names, IC number, and contact number for all 4 people so that I can submit to the location's security before this Sunday.


Ok that was the details. But I would still like those who are interested to inform me first. If the result turn out to be unexpected, I'll have no choice but to cancel it. So yeah! Faster tell me! XD

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I just recevied a call from someone working in mediacorp. They require 4 violinist in one of their scene, I guess. 2 guys and 2 girls. They need it on the 29th of December at 7.30am at MediaCorp. It is ok if you cant play well as they say there is no need for you to play. They will be providing the music while you just pretend to play. And of course, YOU WILL BE PAID! $50 per pax. However, there are some conditions to be approved 1st. So give me call or a sms if you are interested. :)

22nd dec: 11am-5pm @ LT 26

23rd dec: 11am-5pm @ LT 26

26th dec: 11am-9pm @ LT 26*

27th dec: 11am-4pm @ LT 26 & performace commence at 7pm!

attendance is compulsory for all. people with low attendance will be striked off from the performers' list. please kindly inform the coodinators or me if you cant make it for any of the rehearsal dates and practice with valid reasons.

SPRING CLEAN!

HELLO PEEPS!

We are going to have a Spring Cleaning of our clubhouse on this Saturday, just before FC rehearsals, christmas, parties and Family Concert so that we can enjoy our remaining days in the clubhouse before we move! (sobsob) ANYWAYS, ALL ARE WELCOME TO HELP OUT OK. Just come in the morning to help to clear some rubbish and tidy up the cabinets and all. Otherwise, it will just be me alone :( AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT COMING! Please do not dirty or mess up our beloved clubhouse after we cleaned it up ok, sdar will be coming to have a clubhouse inspection on the 23rd(our rehearsal date) to see if we are ready to move over or something. so please co-operate! just make your presence there if you want to help, this is not a cumpulsory thing, no cca points and no out of the club warning, just purely cleaning up our lil space we call our own! Librarians(old and new) and quartermasters(old and new) should be there as well. (if you get what i mean, should.:p)

So if you are coming, i will be there at 10am in the morning and hopefully we can all clear it up before the Saturday Strings practice ends, or even starts. Thanks alot! Spread the words please~!

ALL STRINGS FRESHIES

PRACTICES WILL RESUME THIS THURSDAY Dec 18

Old Freshies will be having combine practices from 7.30pm to 9.30pm
New Freshies will be having normal lessons from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Please be punctual for the practices.
Also, I know it has been a long time since you all have practiced because of the Common Tests. So, if you all want, you could come down earlier to practise.
