To all members:

This event is compulsory to all club members. Participants have to pay a camp fee of $12 which provides free food & drinks, free T-shirt, free entertainment and free music! Members who cannot attend this event have to produce a letter of explanation.

Please return all forms/letters and pay camp fee to Ailin (Strings) or Kelvin (Guitar) by 2rd Sept 2005(Friday). If they are not available, ask seniors to help pass to them.

Designing of Club tee Competition

- it must be an individual submission

- pls include e logo and ur v own design

- base color of tee can be varied (no need to be black)

- colours used for design limit to 3 colours

- theme must be simple & meaningful

PSF Musical Performance.

We are pleased to inform you that the Poly Stage Factor,
will be holding its first ever musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s
‘Julius Caesar’- The Ides of March in August.
The details are as follows:

Date : 19 Aug 2005
Time: 7.00pm
Venue : Ngee Ann Convention Centre
Ticket Price : $8

The idea of the musical was conceived in December 2004, and there are now
over 20 cast members from different courses in Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP).
It is a play about love, hate, friendship and betrayal.

Announcement for Guitar Fare 2005

Coming off the recent Guitar Fair, I would like to remind members to place their orders by August 2nd which is next Tuesday. Payment is also due next Tuesday.

There is a slight admendment to the guitar packages offered by the two vendors. After speaking with them, they have agreed to throw in more freebies. Now in addition to the discounted price and a free bag, members will also receive a free set of strings and a string winder when purchasing selected models. (Please note: Maestro Guitars now come with a free padded bag)

I highly reccommend members to purchase whatever they need during this period. The items are discounted quite substaintially and in the cases of the guitars, freebies are given as well. Members who need to buy strings, tuners, footstools or other related accessories please consider getting them now.

Do not come crying to me 3 months later after you've realised you've missed out on a good deal and expect me to make magic happen. The prices/packages offered here are exclusive to this Guitar Fair. Once it's officially over next Tuesday do not expect to get the same deals from these vendors.

In closing, I would like to thank the vendors, Maestro Guitars and Tomas Music, and more importantly the NP Strings members who turned up to participate in this event which resulted in success that exceeded my expectations. I hope NP String members who attended the event found it fun and useful.

I would also like to thank James, Tian Sheng, Marcus,Sio and everyone else I may have forgotten for helping me so self-lessly during the event.
